Perfect central in Chamonix town centre. Ideal for families and individuals.
The 36m2 flat is cosy, clean and comfortable, and is fully equipped with everything a family requires for a great holiday. It is located on the ground floor and so is easily accessible to families with toddlers in pushchairs. The apartment offers superb views of the L’Aguille du Midi, and down the valley to Les Houches
The property sleeps between 4 and 6 people. The main living area has an extremely comfortable double sofa bed (with proper mattress), a built in seating area around the dining table, that will easily sit 6 adults. There are numerous games, books, DVDs in the apartment (kids and adults), as well as a TV with DVD, a radio/cassette player and a Playstation One including numerous games.
The kitchen has a fridge, kettle, microwave, and 4 hobs (no oven), dishwasher. There is ample space for storage of groceries, with the cupboards stocked with all crockery/pans that you will require. There is also a large storage cupboard located to the side of the kitchen.
The main bedroom consists of a double bed and has a large built in wardrobe and numerous drawers.
In the corridor to the bathroom and separate toilet, there are large adult sized bunk beds with reading lights, built into an alcove (kids bed brace is supplied), with storage boxes under the bed. When all the doors are closed it is effectively a 2 bedroomed apartment.
The bathroom with unlimited hot water, consists of a bath and a very powerful overhead shower.
In terms of location, the apartment is located on the River Arve, parallel to the main shopping/dining street in Chamonix – it really is less than 2 mins (400m)either way out of the apartment to the main centre, but means that you are out the noise and hussle of everyday goings on along the main street. The nearest supermarket, restaurant, bar, L’Aguillle du Midi lift station are all within 2-3 mins walk – the train station is 4-5 min walk and best of all, the ‘round town’ bus shuttle is directly outside.
There is no associated parking, however all up the road is free parking, with a free car park 2 mins walk up the road.
The only extra is linen and final cleaning. The linen is costing 20euros for a single set and 30euros for a double set. Final cleaning is 50euros. Both of these are optional.
